MoneyTree Seminar (MoneyTree for Beginners)
MoneyTree is originally designed as a 30-min seminar to show investors, the power of numbers and compounding. Then, it’s been developed to a 90-min seminar and a 3-hour workshop to serve people all walking life, who work hard for the money without understanding the power of numbers and investments; people who are too busy to read, to go to workshop, or too shy to talk about money matters with friends and family; people who know they shoulda woulda coulda save money, spend in a smarter way, tithe, invest for the future ASAP, pay off their debts, cut off their credit cards, BUT…. Always have no time, and think they have a lifetime of TIME. Many participants give the feedback that the seminar is very easy to understand, very fun to learn, and they know what actions to take NOW.

MoneyTree for Parents
In January 2002, MoneyTree developed a sister seminar, named MoneyTree for Parents, and it was such a big hit that gave birth to my first book, MoneyTree for Parents ~ 100 Tips to Teach Your Kids About Money management (click). I must say that it is the most popular seminar among the MoneyTree series so far. Parents love it, single people love it and children love it; many people love to bring their children with them. We’ve had three seminars held in Hong Kong Space Museum, that brought a lot of media interviews, and invitations for me to write as a columnist (see media click). It is real fun! It is the only seminar that I can see parents and kids come together and learn together.

MoneyTree for Women
 |
|
Though I think MoneyTree for Women should come first, being a woman myself, it didn’t happen until 2004, after MoneyTree for Dummies (Moneytree Seminar) and MoneyTree for Parents. I even gave a MoneyTree for Teenager once before MoneyTree for Women was created. No matter how hard people try to make a difference against various discriminations, such as race discrimination, sex discrimination, education, religion and so on. Men and women are never equal. Hey, yes! I mean it. Be real! I’m not talking about Hong Kong or some western countries. Even so, it will take a long time for it to happen. The good news is, human beings discriminate, but money doesn’t. In the career world, on the same job, every dollar a man makes, a woman makes 70 cents. In the investment world, money doesn’t care whether you’re a man or a woman; it works hard for you, and gives you off-springs (different banknotes). So, sisters, stop shopping, start investing! Especially in Hong Kong, one third of women will never get married for the rest of their lives. Who is going to take care of you, girlfriend? Besides, rich likes to marry rich anyway. So, stay smart and retire young!
